Supported devices
- Smart TV`s from Samsung, LG, Sony, Panasonic, Philips or any other brands, any other TV with network function (wired or wireless);
- Chromecast;
- Smart Set-top boxes, WDTV, Numericable;
- Blu-ray players with DLNA support and network connection;
- Software media renderers like XBMC (Kodi), etc;
- Software media servers like Serviio, Plex, Twonky, etc;
- Any other device that is DLNA certified.
- Make sure that your iPhone/iPad is in same WI-FI network as your TV/device;
- Do not enable Screen Mirroring on the TV, your TV must be in channel mode;
- In Devices tab, you can see a list with servers and renderer devices (displays) that are discovered at first run. If you can`t see any devices, but you are sure that are properly connected to the network, press refresh button from the top right side of the screen. If you still have issues detecting devices, close the app from task switcher and start it again.
- If you still can`t find the TV, try to reboot your router, then your TV, wait 2 minutes and start Media Stream.
- Select the device you want to connect to, then select the media you want to play. For best performance and low loading times, use a wireless N or better router.
- Make sure that your iPhone/iPad is in same WI-FI network as your media server
- In Devices tab, you can see a list with servers and renderer devices (displays) that are discovered at first run. If you can`t see any devices, but you are sure that are properly connected to the network, press refresh button from the top right side of the screen. If you still have issues detecting devices, close the app from task switcher and start it again.
- First select the display where you want to see the content;
- Then select the server you want to browse;
- You can see all the files shared in the selected server and then you can play them on your selected display.
- Select the folder from where you want to stream pictures, then just press on a picture to see it on TV.
- Pictures will be auto rotated to match the screen orientation. Please note that some TV`s/devices don`t support all the picture file types.
- Slideshow: press on the Play button from top right side of the screen, and select desired slideshow speed.
*Note: Slideshow is not available for pictures from media servers.
- You can play videos from Camera Roll or from Video Library;
- Camera recorded videos can be played directly (Play original file) if your TV supports quicktime format, but the image may appear in wrong position if the videos are not taken in the right position, with home button in the right side. To fix this issue, play the videos with conversion, this way 4K files can play on regular TV sets, and the videos will be rotated to the correct position.
- From Video library you can play Music Videos downloaded from iTunes or you can add your own movies, videoclips, in .mov or mp4 format, by syncing your phone with your PC/Mac video folders. *DRM Movies downloaded from iTunes are not supported.
- Supported video file formats for media servers are common ones like .mkv, .mp4, .avi, .mpeg, .ts, etc
- Select the desired content provider;
- Use search to find your video or channel* (Youtube only*)
- Select the video you want
- Now the video will play on your TV. You can adjust sound, seek, or go back and search for other videos!
- Select Music tab;
- Choose your song or playlist and enjoy the music!
- You can seek to a specific time in your song, go to next or previous song, pause and resume playing, use shuffle and repeat options. You can also adjust sound of your TV while streaming.
*Note: Media Stream works best with MP3 songs. Music purchased from iTunes may require conversion to play on some devices. This can take a few seconds.
*Note: if you want to use playlists and autoplay, don`t lock the device, just dim the brightness.
Q: How to connect my device to TV?
A: Just connect your mobile device to the same Wi-Fi network as your TV. The TV can be connected to the Wi-Fi router using cable or Wi-Fi. When using Wi-Fi make sure you have a strong signal on your TV, or video playback may be choppy.

Q: How to connect my device to XBOX ONE?
A: Make sure that you have "Xbox Video" and "Xbox Music" installed on your Xbox One.
Then check if "Play To" feature is turned on in Xbox One Settings. Turn "Play To" off, then back on again if needed. Note: You must quit any running games before trying to connect your Xbox One to AirFling.

Q: Why my TV is not detected?
A: The most common causes are the following:
- your device is not connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your TV; check Wi-Fi connection!
- your router is not working properly; in this case reboot your router, your device, and your TV!
- your TV/device may not be compatible or needs setup, please check your TV manual or contact support!

Q: Why I don`t see my camera photos or videos in AirFling?
A: You have probably blocked the access to Photos during the first launch. Go to Settings, Privacy, Photos and give/deny AirFling permission.
